I've been struggling with many things since the time I've turned 13. I struggled with alcohol, drugs, popping pills, depression, anger issues and currently, self-injury. Ive been through a lot over the past couple years. I started going through depression when I moved all the way across the U.S. leaving all my family and friends. Once we moved and got settled in, everything seemed to get worse. I switched between about 4 different schools throughout the past year, and at every school I've been the "new kid". I have been struggling with my family, mostly my parents. They're the reason my depression got so bad, and my sister, that lead me toward cutting myself. Behind every scar I have a story, I know it's not the best thing to do, but it's become addicting, very addicting. Whenever I'm feeling alone or hopeless, I listen to WayFM. It helps me knowing that God is always there for me, no matter what happens. He'll be there till the end, and that's never going to change. Because of WayFM and their inspirational music, I haven't injured myself in over 5 weeks. Thanks WayFM for your music and yourself support and God for always being there. Without you guys, I have no clue where I would be today.
Hey! We love hearing from you, about you... about how your life has been changed and what you think.

For years I had been dealing with anger related issues. It was affecting my relationship with my wife and my three children. I rededicated my life and my family back to God and ever since then I have only had wayfm on my radio station in my car. It constantly encourages me, uplifts me, and gives me a constant reminder that God will always be there for me no matter what. My children and wife have a changed by your station too. My kids had no idea that there was music out there that was all about living a christian life and living for God. Thank you wayfm.

I made a pledge this morning of $20.00, while driving to work. I live in the cape, I'm a single parent, raising 3 teenage girls, keeping them focused on God can sometimes be a challenge. Listening to way FM in the car really helps. My faith has been tested many times this past year and when I feel like there's no hope, I get in my car to drive to work, and I listen to Jeff and the music and I feel restored. I always tell people that I have church in my car in the mornings. thank you way f.m for being consistent in my life for the past 10 years.

What’s impossible? My mother is an alcoholic and emotionally detached, my oldest sister is a drug addict who had 3 kids that my mom has to take care of, my brother is in and out of jail, my other sister died of an overdose when I was 15. People said it was inimitable, impossible, stupid to think I would become something else but God had something else planned for me. I’m now 18 and through God I’ve never touched a drug, cigarette, or beer, I graduated 2009, am now an active member in my youth group, and listen to Wayfm every time Im in the car. With God nothing is impossible!!!

Im a cowgirl & Im a member of the Seminole Tribe of Fla. This year I was sitting 1st in the EIRA Breakaway roping. The regional finals were 3 wks ago & I was practicing my butt off & praying because the Indian National Finals Rodeo are beening held in Las Vegas. Roping in Vegas has been a dream of mine since i began roping 9yrs ago. When the day of the rodeo came I prayed that morning to stand in the gap for the tribe, not knowing that I was going to be entering into a new level of spiritual warfare. It came time for the rodeo to start & all I had to do was catch my calf & my spot to the finals would be secured. I caught my calf BUT then in a blink of an eye the calf ran through my loop causing me to get a no time. I was so upset & crying. I put my horse up & hid in the truck praying & asking why did that happen. On the way home I was still upset & the enemy was in my ear telling me that my God failed me. so I turned the radio on which is always on yall's station & the song "voice of truth" by casting crowns was on. I listened to every word & God spoke to me saying "the reason why this happen is you prayed to stand in the gap for the tribe this morning & its gonna be a hard battle". I was sitting there in self pity til I heard that song on yall's station. God was right it has been a hard battle & it isn't over yet. But now when satan is in my ear I think of that song! I wanna thank yall for playing that song during the time I was needing to hear it.

One year ago we lost our father ( by we I mean me my sister and two brothers and my mom, of all the sibling I am the oldest) which at times is frustrating as balancing work, school, friends, family and church. When we first moved here I found WAY-FM and we have been listening to it every since. It has really helped us while we were dealing with the loss of our father. At first I was really angry I just felt like God on top of every thing else we've had to deal with in the past couple years this too. I was also angry because I felt that my extended family was not there for us as strong as I felt they should be. then eventually with the help of my awesome church I finally realized that I was looking to my family to be the source in my life...and then Psalm 23 meant so much more to me. I had been reading it for over a year as I had continuously been lead back to it. I am really appreciative of the sacrifice you all have made to play uplifting inspirational music. It really does make a difference.

A few months ago I found myself far from God, I had even stop listening to you radio station. God was still close to me but I was the one that for just a moment forgot how wonderful & merciful he has been to me!!!! Listening to you guys one Sunday morning I heard the song "This man" by Jeremy Camp & found myself crying asking God to open my heart once more, because I needed him. By his grace I found myself close to him once more & this time for good. Thank you for playing such inspirational music that reminds all of us just how great his love was for us!!!!! THANK YOU WAYFM....

During the most troubling days, it was such a lift to our spirits to tune into WAYFM online and listen in. You have been a blessing to us. God is bringing us back to SW Florida next year and we look forward to listening to WAYFM again. God's peace to you all.

I just have to say thank you for being the radio station that my family listens to and loves! It wasn't until recently that I finally realized how important the morning show has been in our lives. We have a 4 yr. old son and I take him to school and pick him up everyday. Everyday my car radio never leaves way fm. Just the other day, I was feeling a bit "blue" and Matthew West's "Motions" was playing, when I turned off the radio and a little voice from the back of the car said "Mommy I want to listen to the Motions" and so I turned the radio back on and my 4 yrs. sang almost every line to that song. Next Francesca Battistelli came on with "Free to be Me" and my son proceeded to sing that song too! Then his all time favorite "Give me your eyes" which Josh call's "HISS SONG" and he knew every word to that song!! I was shocked and so proud of my little man!. For the next few days I kept signing these songs and Josh kept signing Toby Mack, Barlow Girl, Super ChiK and so forth. WOW I'm listening to a radio station that my 4 yrs. absolutely loves. You guys are a great influence! Keep up the great work, may God continue to use you guys more and more each and every day. Thanks.

I started the Christian life and learning the Word of God January 2008. I was having financial problems, which impacted my relationship with my husband. The economy in SW Florida has been hit really hard the past year and unfortunately my husband couldn't find a job, then he did, and I lost my job. We only both had incomes 3 months last year, the rest of the time was a struggle just to put food on the table. My friend introduced me to your station, and I found a great church and asked God to guide my life. My family has since moved to Pittsburgh, PA in January of this year. I found a job in two days, and my husband found a job in a month. We are now back on track and our relationship is restored. I miss your station so much that I listen to you everyday at work through my computer. I don't feel like the person I need to be unless I have your music on during the day. I have to admit in the winter time it is hard to hear how nice the weather is in SW Florida when we are having a blizzard in PA!! Thank you so much for your station it makes me remember I'm here for a reason. God Bless!!!

On the way to my appt. when I was 10 weeks pregnant, the song "By Your Side" came on the radio. This song was the first thought I had when I heard the devasting news, "The baby has no heartbeat, this is a miscarriage." I was shocked, hurt, and in total disbelief. How could God let this happen to me, how could He leave me in such distress, how could He take this child from me? Then I remembered the song I heard and realized He was right there, right in that very room, holding me, right there feeling the pain, He hadnt left me. Now that a little time has passed, I still feel the saddness, the pain, the emptiness...and as much as I dont like it, my loss is not a mistake. I believe God had that song on the radio for me to remember in that time of suffering that He was and always will be by my side. Thank you for having a ministry that touches so many lives even during their darkest hours. I praise God for you.

There has been a lot of tragedy in my life that made me turn away from my father from above. Eventually i turned away from god to make room for my acceptance of all the stress in my life. i drank i used unhealthy drugs, i started to become a very violent person. even after having my son. i started many things and when i got half way done i ended up quitting because i didn't think it was worth it to finish it. what hurts the most is that regretted my mistake and made my way of raising my son harder for me and my son to cope with. i ended up becoming more depressed with each day that came forth. i don't live in Florida anymore so i cant turn to the way FM station in the car or even on a regular stereo at home anymore. but i do have the internet to play the live on the air stream.it makes a difference when i can get up in the morning go to the website and still be able to Liston to the right songs at the right times to uplift my heart and my mind to give the reigns to god and let him lead me through the day

Your music has put a smile on my face more times than I can count, I ride around singing in the car, and dancing in my living room... I know your music has inspired many and I am so proud to hear young adults and 47 year olds too...finding their way to God...and knowing that we need to get back to what the "GOOD BOOK" said!!! Ever since I've moved here from my small town in California, I've had a hard time staying close to God. I've lost friends and left everything I've ever known behind. My friends here always tried to get me to listen to 88.7, but I frankly thought it quite boring. My parents started listening to The Way in the car, and one morning on my way to school, the Casting Crowns song East to West came on. I wasn't really listening but then I heard "chains of yesterday" and "I yearn for peace and rest." It was as if the lightbulb went off in my head. I would listen to the station just trying to figure out the name of the song. Before long I was singing to nearly ever song I heard. This station has brought me closer to God through music and I tune in every day. A couple of weeks ago I went to Hawaii to visit my brother and was saddened to learn that WAY-FM does not play over there. So I got on my sister-in-law's computer and listened online. I love this station! God Bless You All!

I've been going through so many things... My husband used people, my faith was torned because I thought he was a Christian as I am. But he lied to me, his family, our church family - he broke the law and I testified against him. I have been so wounded. I blamed myself for not seeing the truth. I was angry at myself, my husband and God. I really thought God would protect me. Well God was protecting me!!!! I just couldn't see it during this period. I stopped going to church and for a while I couldn't listen to Christian music anymore. But WAY-FM kept calling me back. I would start to listen to your station and then I would start to cry. God speaks to me through the music, other stories from listeners and by your staff. I am now divorced. It's been almost three years now and God is still calling me back. Your station is helping me heal from all of this pain. I moved back here because I went to school here and I reconnected with my first love. God is using him to help me heal too! The journey is difficult but I cry out and pray to him to touch my soul. This journey isn't over and I'm not totally healed but I know God has His arms wrapped around me giving me comfort and new hope. Thank you WAYFM! Please keep me in your prayers. I know God has a wonderful plan for my life I just have to keep my heart open and I know my chains will be broken by my Faith in Christ.

Thank You for everything that you do. I accepted Christ as my savior four years ago, and I was on fire for Christ. Then, three years ago, I rejected God and ran from my faith. I turned to the world, and I haven't found a way to regain all of the ground that I have lost spiritually, no matter how much I want to. WAY-FM has given me a connection to the faith I once knew. It is WAY-FM that keeps me from giving up completely, and from losing hope. The only time that I can feel God's grace and truth is when I worship him through music. So thank you WAY-FM, through you I find strength to keep seeking the Lord. Please keep me in your prayers!

Because I wanted to make friends in my new school, I switched my music to fit in and I even remember participating once or twice in making fun of others who listened to Way FM, something that I always felt horrible about. Then in high school, I decided to switch to a public school. During my sophomore year, one of my friends invited me to participate in "see you at the pole" before school and then asked me to go with her to the rally at the convention center. That night changed my life. While listening to the message at the rally, I realized that my relationship with God had severely weakened, despite the fact that I went to church every Sunday with my Family. I guess for a long time, I had just been "going through the motions." Right after the rally, I hopped into the car with my friend, tuned into 88.7, and we started crying and worshiping with the music. Now, two years later, I'm proud to say that I listen to Way FM daily and have not only joined my church's youth group, but also have become a youth leader in it. Thank you so much for always being there for me!

I was raised in the church all of my life. My dad has been a minister at the same church for over 25 years. I have always considered myself "a christian" without fully realizing what that meant. Recently, I have come to realize what God really wants from me and that i just have to surrender. Way-FM has been a awesome refuge for me. the songs reassure me and helping me stay grounded and focused in my faith, I'm so thankful for your radio staion and the ministry you hold true to every day! Thank you

Recently I have been really going through heartache. Way-FM picks up my soul and fills it with joy when I hear about the awesomeness of Jesus Christ and reminds me to stay focused on him and it makes everything better. Phil. 4:13 " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me", and you all help me stay focused on him. Thank you, and keep it up!

I lived in Michigan and lost my wife 2 years ago, then I remarried too quick and now going through divorce. I used to sit in the house and do nothing everyday thinking about all that had been dealt to me. Then God spoke to me and said to gather my things and leave Michigan my home my grown daughters, my grandkids and parents and move to Naples Florida. I started working as soon as I got here and met a fellow worker Christian who invited me to his church where I still attend. The hand of God has touched me and helped me to put down the luggage of my past and move forward with him. I am so blessed with this move and I know there is more God has planned for me and I wait in anticipation!

I was raised with some Catholic roots, but very little religious influence in the home. In High School I became an atheist, and became strong in my conviction in college and even after. I just had a baby girl 9 months ago and I panicked. While I was able to make the decision not to believe in God for myself, I couldn't do that for my baby. What if I was wrong? An old friend recently came back into my life after 10+ years with some parenting advise. Soon the talks turned to religion and God. We were both adamant in our stances, me as an atheist, and her as a Christian. Upon her suggestion, I began reading the Bible, listening to your station, and attending Church. I started to see all the pieces I had previously labeled as coincidences, being way more than random. One example was hearing one of my favorite bands on your station, Relient K. I was stunned to actually listen to the words in a new context and feel the power of their lyrics. Two nights ago I broke down and was saved. Thank you guys for playing a part in my journey to God.

I'm 20 years old, orginally from Fort Myers and moved to the United Kingdom about 9 months ago to do mission work. I work for a church in Birmingham in the middle of England and the homesickness comes in waves. In the office the other day I remembered I could log on to 88.7 by internet and listen to home again. I'm so thrilled that I could have a piece of home wherever I go. It has helped me during times I thought I was going to fall to pieces, I think it's amazing what your doing and pray that God continues to impact people through your ministry.

I have been listening to your station for sometime now, and I can surely say that the music you all play is very uplifting. I'am a law enforcement officer and the people I come in contact with are not believers, but they hear your station playing on my radio when they are in my vehicle. Some of the guys I work with are not believers, but when they ride with me they have to listen to your station. I thank God for all of you guys/gals so keep up the uplifting work.

My kids and I go to a wonderful church in Labelle. My children have found Jesus. I have walked away from God so many times. I know now that we can not get through our tough times without him. I know we will make it no matter what as long as we keep worshiping the one only Lord Jesus Christ... My kids love Way Fm. This is the only station we listen too.. YOur station has been a blessing for us. We wake up listening to you... The stories we listen to is so uplifting it makes us want to turn up the radio and praise GOD for all the miracles he is doing in our community. For the all the one going through tough times remember keep worshiping GOD and let Him take control you will overcome you tough times. Keep your hands lifted and your heart wide open. My 8-year-old son and I would wake up listening to another radio station. All our radios were set to that station only. Between the language and the music, it was not appropriate for him. I saw changes in my son I did not like and I knew that the music he was listening to did not help. I prayed for something new to come in to our lives and that is when I found you. My son did not like the change at first. Now, we wake up with and have all our stations set to Way-FM. We have been a loyal listener for about a month. I made a pledge today because just like my son and I many people need Way-FM in their lives. Thank you so much for all you do. God bless.

WAYFM, thank you for playing music that hits home! My grandfather fell ill in early September. Around that time, I went to Rock the Universe and I saw Hawk Nelson in concert. They played the song "Zero," which was written about the lead singer's friend, who took his own life. A few days after that, I heard the song played on the radio and I began to get emotional as I realized that "Zero" was an almost perfect description of what I was going through. After my family found out that my grandfather had cancer, the song meant that much more. He passed away recently, and the first song I could think of that really talked about what I was feeling was "Zero." It hits home everytime I hear it, and I thank you for playing songs like that to encourage me in my time of suffering.

Well, the past 3 years have been tough for me, I have struggled w/ my drug addiction and 31 days ago, I hit bottom. My life was a complete mess, my wife, my family and my job has suffered. I cried out to the LORD to save me, I prayed every 20 minutes to have the strength to stay clean, I sought help and I changed my station to WAY-FM. What a difference! I love the music! I feel really encouraged and happy when I listen. It has truely made a difference. I was challenged to listen to WAY 6 years ago after an indepth conversation with a good friend of mine. We were talking aobut how country music could be depressing and moody when my friend Jose challenged me to to listen to WAY for just one week and see if I noticed a difference in my overall attitude. I took him up on that challenge and I was toatlly surprised at how happy I felt and how positive the music is. My radio is now permanently stuck on WAY and I even have some of the guys at work listening to it. Most of our guys at work know that I've been in their truck by the radio station I listen to. I am so greatful for what WAY has done for our community and for the positive music they bring to us every day. Thank You WAY-FM.

I started listening to WAY FM almost 2 years ago when a close friend reccomended it. Now, I couldn't imagine driving the far drive to school and back without it. I even got my boyfriend listening to it and memorizing lyrics. For once, I am familiar with a local radio station who actually gives the community what they should be listening to! You keep me sane and level headed. When my first day of college didn't go as planned, I didn't give up right away because I knew I had the peace to recover from that day just a click away on the radio. Way FM is also the first radio station where I can actually name the song and singer within seconds of the song playing. Each song tells it's own story and helps me experience my life with a little more peace and happiness. I LOVE WAY FM! and I spread the joy from it everywhere I go! =D

I just gotta say this to all of you at WAY FM. My family just recently moved from Connecticut to Florida and in Connecticut I couldn't find a lot of christian radio stations or any related things. All i could do was wait for the beginning of the week to start to go to church(not that I mind, I like church a lot)or wednesday night confirmation classes. After coming down here I tweaked with the radio a bit to see what I could find. Sure enough, I found your station, and it's all I listen to when I have the chance. Now I get to listen to music that talks about God, his son, and his love, mercy, and wisdom that is unrivaled. I support WAY FM and I hope God will bless you all even more than you've already been. Again, thank you for helping me to keep faithful.

But, a year ago my parents split and suddenly my world was flipped upside down and my view on WAY-FM changed. I remember saying to myself, "Wow, when I listen to this station its like I can get away from all the bad stuff if even for just 5 minutes!" WAY-FM became my get away and brought me closer to God. When I have a really bad day and I need lifting up I know Way FM will be there and pick me up and start me on my feet again. And not only is WAY-FM making a difference in my life, but in my friend's lives. The more they are in the car with me the more they get interested in Christian music and I love it.
